NeXuS Clan Policies Proposal:
Expectations:
1: Have fun playing the game.
2: Help fellow clan members in any way possible.
3: Respect opinions of the officers, and individual members of the clan.
4: Be an active part of our clan’s domination of the PD2 world.
5: Work as a group for the betterment of the collective, along with the individuals within it.
Rules:
1: You can’t be a part of any other PD2 clan while in NeXuS. Loyalty to the clan is an important part of our group; we work as a unit.
2: Keeping a minimum presence of 250 required, barring unforeseen circumstance out of the control of the trainer. – Any requests for an exception to this rule for a short period of time can be discussed with the field commander, an officer, or an admin.
3: No attacking fellow clan members, assisting outside friends against the clan, or farming for gains. – Having outside friends is allowed and accepted, but obligation to the clan must come first.
4: Respecting other trainers is essential. – Remembering the human behind the dragon is an easy thing to do. IE: No spamming cave walls and unnecessarily taunting other dragon trainers. Try to use tact when speaking with/to other clans and trainers in general.
5: No constant chain/repeat attacking. – This clan operates with a 4 day ABC. This Anti-Bullying Code means one successful attack against a single dragon within 4 days (96 hrs) is accepted. If your first attempt is unsuccessful you can re-launch one more time within that 4 days (96 hrs). Simply put: one successful attack within 4 days, or 1 unsuccessful, and one re-launch within the 96 hour period. If people are found to be chain attacking our clan, an appropriate reaction will be discussed and enacted.
6: Assisting policies must be followed. Assisting Policies will be explained to members of the clan.
7: Absences from the game need to be reported to an officer and/or posted in the forums wherever possible, barring unforeseen circumstance.
8: Being a member of the forums and the FB group is required.
9: Any and all information gathered by/for the clan including all information about clan members and all Intel gathered about other clans is to remain secret to anyone outside of NeXuS. Anyone found leaking information will face immediate expulsion.
Public Behavior:
A Nexus member needs to conduct themselves with dignity, honour and respect when dealing with members of the clan, and should try to do the same when possible with others in the PD2 community.
Conflicts that occur between clan members should first be worked through privately by those involved. If the dispute cannot be dealt with between those involved, then a member may appeal to the clan leadership to become involved for mediation. The clan leadership will attempt to find an equitable resolution to the conflict and will levy disciplinary action when necessary.
Clan members will refrain from posting flames and extreme derogatory remarks in public. Joking around is one thing, harsh personal attacks is another. Public is defined as any place in which three or more players (inside or outside the clan) can view the remark (cave scratching, forums, message threads). Criticizing behaviour is not flaming as long as it does not become a personal attack. If you have a problem with someone, criticize the behaviour not the person.
Clan Discipline:
A clan member found guilty (by evidence, not hearsay) of violating simple clan policy guidelines will be given a warning. A warning will be given to the clan member by a member of the clan leadership. Disrespecting a clan leader is also grounds for a warning. If a member acknowledges the warning, and refrains from further negative behaviour, the matter will be closed.
